Ana Akther (Bengali: আনা আক্তার) is a Bangladeshi Bharatanatyam dancer. She was awarded an ICCR scholarship in 2018 for studying Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.[1][2]
Early life and education
Ana Akther was born on 8 January 1997 in Bogra, Rajshahi. Her father was an Army Officer. She got trained by Bangladesh National Cadet Corps in Mohasthan Regiment for 2 years as a cadet. She completed her schooling at Cantonment board High School Jahangirabad, Bogra. And later Bogra Cantonment Public school and College. She is pursuing her BA under an ICCR scholarship at Rabindra Bharati University.[3][4]
Career
She took her dancing lessons from guru Abdus Samad Polash and Guru Mahabub Hasan Sohag. Later she shifted to the guidance of and Guru Sujatha Ramalingam.[5][6]
