The "Sanamahi Temple" (Meitei: ꯂꯥꯢꯅꯤꯡꯊꯧ ꯁꯅꯥꯃꯍꯤ ꯁꯪꯂꯦꯟ, Old Manipuri: ꯂꯥꯢꯅꯤꯡꯊꯧ ꯁꯅꯥꯃꯍꯤ ꯂꯥꯢꯁꯪ) is an ancient temple dedicated to Lainingthou Sanamahi, a principal deity in Sanamahism, the Meitei religion. It is located in the Sanakhwa Yaima Kollup, Imphal West district of Manipur. Its present architecture was the result of the recreation during the reign of Hindu Manipuri king Kulachandra in the late Medieval Manipur.[1][2][3]
