== Bhaurao Navalji Dhangare (Bhau Dhangare)  My name is Bhaurao Navalji Dhangare, popularly known as Bhau Dhangare. My journey in public life began during my college years, when I discovered my passion for public speaking, social service, and working for the people.  My speeches were powerful and attracted the attention of R. S. Gavai, a respected leader of the Republican Party of India (RPI). One day, he noticed my work and asked me whether I would work with him. I accepted his offer. I was only 25 years old at the time.  Under R. S. Gavai’s leadership, I quickly became active in the RPI. He appointed me to work across five talukas, where I worked closely with ordinary people, helped resolve their problems, and participated in social work. I dedicated myself to the party and public service day and night.  As my association with R. S. Gavai became stronger, he supported me in both my personal and public journey. I was elected Amravati District President of the RPI, receiving approximately 9,500 votes out of 10,000. This became one of the most important milestones of my political career.  I had the opportunity to accompany R. S. Gavai to important places and meetings, including Rashtrapati Bhavan. I was also fortunate to meet senior national and state leaders through him. I remember one occasion when R. S. Gavai introduced me to Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, saying, “Good morning Madam, he is my district president, Bhaurao Dhangare.”  My responsibilities continued to grow. I was appointed All India Railway President, and I was given significant responsibilities connected with railway-related matters. I was also offered an MLA ticket, but I decided not to accept it.  My relationship with R. S. Gavai’s family also became very close. His son, Dr. Rajendra Gavai, had seen me working alongside his father from childhood. Later, R. S. Gavai made Rajendra Gavai the RPI District President, and we worked together for the people and the organisation.  R. S. Gavai and I shared a very close working relationship. Whenever he was at home, I would often stay there and continue working with him. I accompanied him to Mumbai for important meetings and had opportunities to meet senior leaders, including the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.  I also had the privilege of meeting his other son, Bhushan Gavai, and sharing memorable moments with the Gavai family. During my journey, I continued working for people and taking part in social initiatives.  One memorable achievement was receiving and promoting an early solar-powered fan initiative, which I remember as an important part of my social and public-service work. I continued working day and night for people, together with Rajendra Gavai and other members of the organisation.  After the death of R. S. Gavai, the RPI faced major organisational challenges, and the party’s strength and unity changed considerably. However, my commitment to public service continued.  Today, in 2026, I continue my political journey as a Secretary of the Maharashtra RPI. Even after many decades in public life, I remain committed to serving people and carrying forward the values of social justice, equality, and public service.  In 2025, I received an invitation from Rashtrapati Bhavan to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Justice of India. Unfortunately, because of my age and health-related limitations, I was unable to attend the ceremony. Receiving that invitation nevertheless remains a deeply memorable moment in my long journey of public service.  My life has been a journey from a young college student with a passion for public speaking to a district-level and national-level political worker. The greatest achievement of my journey has not been any position or title, but the opportunity to work for ordinary people, listen to their problems, and stand with them.  I remain grateful to R. S. Gavai, his family, my colleagues, and the people of Amravati who supported me throughout this journey.  My journey continues with the same commitment: to serve the people and work for social justice and equality. ==

I would like to suggest adding and regularly updating information related to cricket and the growing use of Lemonbook digital platform form for following the sport.

Topics such as cricket statistics, tournament formats, match terminology, player records, and how fans access cricket-related information online could be useful for readers, particularly beginners.

Clear and well-sourced cricket content can help readers understand the sport while also making Bharatpedia more useful for people looking for reliable information about cricket.
