Joji was born in Kallakulam family to K. J. John and Lusamma. He graduated from NSS College in Vazhoor. Joji has been working in Malayalam film and serial industry since 2000. He made his film debut through the 2021 Malayalam film Joji directed by Dileesh Pothan.[2] Joji K John also worked as an associate director for the TV serials Pranayakatha and Kumkumam.
