Kaikaluru is a village in Eluru district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Kaikalur is home to Kolleru Lake, one of the largest freshwater lakes in India.Covering about 90100 hectares and providing tourist destination.
History
Eluru district started functioning from 2 April 2022. It has three revenue divisions: Eluru revenue division with 12 mandals, Nuzvid revenue division with 6 mandals and Jangareddygudem revenue division with 9 mandals.[2][3]
Geography
Kaikaluru is located at 16°34′00″N 81°12′00″E / 16.5667°N 81.2000°E.[4] It has an average elevation of 18.sri syamalamba temple is one of the famous temple.

As of 2011[update] Census of India, the town had a population of 21,292. The total population constitute, 10,692 males, 10,600 females and 2,097 children, in the age group of 0–6 years. The average literacy rate stands at 78.46% with 15,060 literates, significantly higher than the national average of 73.00%.[5]
