Pratip Munshi was an Indian artist in the field of Mother of Pearl artistry. He belonged to the Murshidabad lineage of the Munshi family of Kolkata. He was the paternal cousin of artist Annada Munshi and artist Manu Munshi.[1]
Inspiration and training
Munshi was overwhelmed with the unique artistic approaches of uncle Anukul Charan Munshi, towards the Mother of Pearl artistry. He was trained the very newly introduced Indian Mother of Pearl artistry by his uncle along with his cousins Annada and Manu.
