It is based on a story by "Kalkut", pseudonym of Samaresh Basu (1924–1988). Music is by Sudhin Dasgupta and stars Shubhendu Chatterjee, Aparna Sen, Bhanu Bandhopadhyay, Samit Bhanja, Ruma Guha Thakurta amongst others.[1][2]
