Bangaru Laxman (17 March 1939 – 1 March 2014) was an Indian politician. He was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was President of the party from 2000 to 2001.

Laxman was also the minister of state for railways in Government of India from 1999 to 2000. He was sentenced to four years in jail for a defense deal corruption case. He was a member of the BJP and the RSS.

Laxman died in Hyderabad, India from cardiac arrest, aged 74.[1]
