Priyanka Chopra Jonas (born 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, India) is an Indian actress, model, singer and dancer. She is the winner of the Miss World pageant of 2000.[2] Chopra is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.[3] She has won many awards, and has become one of Bollywood's highest paid actresses. She stars in the US television series Quantico which premiered on September 27, 2015.[3]
Chopra's parents were both in the Indian Army, so her family moved often. While she was a teenager, she lived in the United States for some years. Since she won the Miss World title in 2000, she has been in many films, television shows, and she has released 3 singles.
In 2018, she married an American singer-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas.
