Tejashree is the wife of Anushalva and the mother of Anusuya, who was married to Lakshaketu. She is mentioned to be kidnapped by Anushalva as per the guidance of his uncle, Upadharava. She was a great devotee of [[Krishna]]. It is mentioned that Anushalva had no parent but a uncle named Upadhrava. Hence, he considered his nephew Anushalva's marriage with King Charuratha's daughter Princess Tejashree. This story of [[Mahabharata]] describes that Anushalva loved Tejashree immensely. {{Infobox character
