Eriksen Dickens (born 7 April 1995) is an actor and filmmaker from Oakdale, California. He directed the film Two Magic Drops in 2020 which selected 8 international film festivals and won three of them.[1]
Early Life[edit]
Dickens was born and brought up in the cowboy capital city, Oakdale, California, United States. His father who was a teacher and baseball coach, died when he was 14 from cancer. His mother also fought cancer twice and a survivor. He has a younger brother, Soren Dickens who is a writer and director. He has done a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Cal Poly State University in 2017 and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2021.
Career[edit]
Dickens started Platinum Peek Productions with his brother Soren Dickens, out of their dorm room at Cal Poly in 2016.[2] Platinum Peek is a digital storytelling agency specializing in revenue-generating advertisements and branding content. He wrote a book named The Orchard's Offspring in 2018, which was well-received. In the year 2020, Eriksen Dickens achieved fame with the film, Two Magic Drops – a short documentary written and directed with Soren Dickens - based on the involvement of Rotary International in India in providing polio vaccinations to the children of the country. It has been selected to 8 international film festivals while won awards at 3 of them.[3]
