Henjunaha Yangleingamba (Meitei: ꯍꯦꯟꯖꯨꯅꯍꯥ ꯌꯥꯡꯂꯩꯉꯝꯕ) or Hensunaha Yangleignampa (Old Manipuri: ꯍꯦꯟꯁꯨꯅꯍꯥ ꯌꯥꯪꯂꯩꯉꯝꯄ) is one of the principal characters in the ancient Moirang Kangleirol legends.[1] He is the son of Langlenhanba and a lover of Thongnang Lairoulembi. He is the main character in the second line of incarnation in the epic of Ancient Moirang kingdom.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

  • In 2010, "Henjunaha", a drama, was written by K. B. Sharma, based on the story of the hero.[8]
  • In 2012, a book "Henjunaha Lairoulembi", was published in the Manipur Hindi Parishad, Imphal. It's based on the saga of the hero Henjunaha and his lady love Lairoulembi.[9]
  • In 2017, a folk play named "Henjunaha", was premiered, based on the saga of the legendary hero.[10]
