Avan Aval Adhu (transl. He, She and That) is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language film dealing with the then-groundbreaking issue of surrogate pregnancy, directed by Muktha Srinivasan and written by Visu.[1][2] The film stars Sivakumar, Lakshmi, Sripriya and Thengai Srinivasan. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. It is based on the story Oru Singam Muyalaagirathu by Sivasankari.[3][4] The film was remade in Telugu as Samsaram Santhanam.
