The Bharatpedia team is organizing an edit-a-thon. The goal of this edit-a-thon is to improve India-related articles. The event will start on December 1, 2022 and will run for complete 30 days.

Expectations

It is announced that User that makes the most number of edits during this edit-a-thon will be awarded a certificate of participation and a gift of their choice from the Bharatpedia Store. We expect that if you participate in this edit-a-thon, you'll make at least 500 edits.

Who can join?

Any registered user with or without autoconfirmed user rights can join. If your account is 5 days old and you have made a minimum of 20 edits you can post articles directly to the article namespace, but if you do not have the autoconfirmed user right yet, you can post a page in draft space and submit it for a review using the template {{submit}} please see Bharatpedia:New user landing page for more.

Rules

For edits to be considered as part of this India Edit-a-thon, they must adhere to the following rules

1. Creation rule:
   1. If you are creating a new article the new article must have a minimum length of 200 words (the prose count excludes templates, infoboxes, references, etc.)
   2. The articles should not have copyright violation content and should follow verifiability.
2. Edit rule:
   1. Only 2 edits per article will be counted as a valid entries.
   2. Undo/revert edits will not count.
   3. Edits should be limited to the main namespace.
