Shweta ([[Sanskrit]]:श्वेता) lit.[[white]] is second among the wives of [[Dushasana]] in some epics. In the same manner, [[Shakuni]] narrated the story of Shweta's beauty. [[Dushasana]] was mesmerized by the words of [[Shakuni]]. Basically, [[Shakuni]] the brother of [[Gandhari (character)|Gandhari]] used to teach his nephews (Gandhari's sons), the [[Kaurava]] bad habits about making the [[Pandava]] lose the game, abducting princesses and making them their wives, etc.

Shweta was the second wife of [[Dushasana]]. She was abducted by [[Dushasana]] from her [[Svayamvara]] and his elder brother [[Duryodhana]] fixed their marriage with pomp and happiness and the poor princess who was kidnapped accepted it.
