The 2022 Formula Regional Indian Championship will be a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across India. This will be the inaugural season of the championship, which will also be the first FIA-sanctioned championship to be held in India, together with its support series, the F4 Indian Championship.[1]

Teams and drivers[edit]

All drivers compete with Alfa Romeo-powered Tatuus F3 T-318 cars. All cars will be run by Prema Powerteam.[2]

Race calendar[edit]

The 2022 calendar was announced on 19 August 2021. Each round is scheduled to consist of three races. A pre-season test will be held on February 23-24 at Buddh International Circuit.[2]
