Aaqib Anjum Aafi (born 5 October 1999) is an Indian Muslim scholar, literary critic, author and a biographical research scholar. He is an alumnus of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Anantnag and the University of Kashmir. He has contributed to several literary magazines including the Sarbakaf and Pasbaan.

Aaqib Anjum Aafi was born on 5 October 1999 in Doru Shahabad, a town in the Anantnag district of Jammu ad Kashmir.[1] He was schooled at several local schools. He attended the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, where he studied for three years.[2] He obtained a diploma in Urdu language and literature from Indira Gandhi National Open University in June 2019.[2] As of 2021, he is studying at the Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi with Islamic Studies in major.[1][2]
Aafi began writing about Indian Muslim scholars and academics in 2016.[1] He contributed to literary magazines such as the Sarbakaf and Pasbān.[3][4] In 2018, he authored a book entitled Urdu Zaban-o-Adab ke farogh mai Ulama-e-Deoband ka hissa (Role of Deobandi Scholars in the Propagation of Urdu Language and Literature).[2]
In June 2021, Aafi founded Hayat al-Mashayikh, a platform that aims to help Muslims connect with the living scholarly figures of Islam.[5] It also aims to familiarize Muslim academics among common people.[5] He criticized Malala for her statements on marriage and said that she never discussed her problems with Muslims.[6]
