Template:Meitei scriptures The Phouoibi Waron (Meitei: ꯐꯧꯑꯣꯢꯕꯤ ꯋꯥꯔꯣꯟ), also spelt as the Phouoibi Warol (Meitei: ꯐꯧꯑꯣꯢꯕꯤ ꯋꯥꯔꯣꯜ), is an ancient treatise (puya) of Phouoibi,^[1]^[2] the goddess of paddy in Meitei mythology and Meitei religion.^[3] The account is believed to be written in the historical period between 13th to 14th century AD.^[4]

According to the text, the goddess is in love affairs with multiple partners, whom she always departed.^[5] She is fickle in nature. She corresponds to Hindu goddess Lakshmi.^[6]^[7]
