Manipura kingdom or Manipuram Rajyam is an ancient kingdom and presently a village in the Khorda district of the Indian state of Odisha.[1][2] In the Mahabharata, the ancient Hindu scripture, Manipur is mentioned as a kingdom located in the shoreline periphery of the Bay of Bengal, after passing through the Mahendra Mountain.[3] It is the place where Arjuna seek asylum and get married to Chitrangada, the princess of the kingdom.[4]
