She was born to M. G. Gopinathan Pillai and Cherthala Sumathi (A former drama artist), in [[Mundakayam]], [[Kottayam]]. She studied music from R.L.V. College of Music and Fine Arts, Tripunithura. Seema started her career as a theater artist, at the age of 17, appearing in Cochin Sangamithra's drama ''Kanyakumariyil Oru Kadamkadha'' in 1987. She has performed drama on more than 1000 stages. Seema G. Nair is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam and Tamil films and TV series.[1]

Personal life[edit | edit source]

Seema enjoys listening to Ghazal songs, cooking, traveling and cherishing 'me time'. Her favorite color is black, with her wardrobe predominantly featuring black, red, and white.[2] She particularly favors the traditional Kerala dress.[2]

Career[edit | edit source]

Seema is the Vice President of ATMA (Association of Television Media Artistes).[3] She is a member of Make-A-Wish Foundation, for Kerala division, a charity Organization based in India.[4] Both Nair and her mother Cherthala Sumathi won the Kerala State Amateur Drama Award.[5]
