Hero No.1 is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama film directed by David Dhawan. It stars Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in lead roles. Most of the film's story is inspired by Bawarchi, a comedy film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It was remade in Telugu as Goppinti Alludu.
