Elshaddai Acheampong (born 16 August 2003) is a women's professional footballer from Ghana. She plays for Gokulam Kerala FC in the Indian Women's League. She plays as forward. She is the top scorer in the 2021-22 IWL.

Early life[edit]

She was born in Kumasi in Ghana and started playing football at the age of six.[1] She played for Police Ladies in Ghana.[2]

Career[edit]

  • 2018: Elshaddai is playing for the Ghana Women's National team since 2018.
  • 2021: She became the highest goal-scorer in the Hero Indian Women's League in 2021–22. She scored 20 goals from 11 matches to bag the Golden boot award and a cash prize.[3] Gokulam also won the League for the second successive time.[4]
  • 2023: She is signed by Apollon Limassol FC and is taking part in the 2022/23 UEFA Women's Champions League.
  • 2023: She is also selected for the Ghana team to play FIFA U20 Women's World Cup.[5]
