Dinesh Kumar (born 15 July 1979) also known as Dinesh Meel[1], is a professor and dean of the school of chemical sciences at the Central University of Gujarat (CUG).[2]
Early life and education
Kumar was born on July 15, 1979, in Khatushyamji, Rajasthan, into a Jat family and did his primary education in Mandha, Rajasthan.[1] Kumar completed his MSc in Chemistry in 2002 and obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rajasthan in 2006.[2]
Career
In 2007, Kumar joined Banasthali Vidyapith as an assistant professor and was promoted to associate professor in 2013.[3] In 2017, Kumar joined the Central University of Gujarat as an associate professor and was later appointed as a professor in 2021. Currently, he holds the positions of professor and dean at the Central University of Gujarat.[4][5]
