The Location of the region over which the East Turkistan Government-in-Exile claims sovereignty as East Turkistan.
The National Symbols of the Republic of East Turkestan are official and unofficial flags, icons or cultural expressions that are emblematic, representative or otherwise characteristic of Uyghur and of its culture. Among the additional objects which are considered to be symbols of the Uyghür nation, is the indigenous Oriental-Persian Poppy. Often red, white, and black (due to stems and leaves), these flowers display the primary colours of the Türkicism flags. Silks, lemons, apricot trees, and the Bactrian camels are also widely accepted as symbols for the Uyghür nation respectively.
