Bandi Narayanswamy is an Telugu writer, novelist and a teacher. He won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2019[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] for his novel Saptabhoomi.[9] He published the novel in 2017 and got the Telugu Association of North America Award[10] for the same.
Early life and career[edit | edit source]
He was born on 3 June 1952[11] at old town of Anantapur in an agricultural family. He studied at the PG Center in Sri Venkateswara University.[12]
After completing his education, he worked as a teacher for various primary and high schools in villages.[13]
His other novels are Rendu Kalala Desam,[14] Meerajyam Meerelandi[15] and Nisargam.[13]
