Kadia is a term used to refer to a mason or persons involved in masonry in India, especially in Gujarati language . [1][2][3][4][5] Many Indian communities, like Kadia Muslim, Kadia Kshatriyas, Mestri, Sathwara, Kadia Kumbhar, Kadiya Suthar, whose occupation is involved with masonry are, therefore, generally referred to as Kadia.[6] Many persons both Hindu and Muslim, involved in mason's job use therefore term/word Kadia, either as pre-fix or as surname after their name or are generally referred to as Kadia.[7]
