The Thangjam Asteroid, also known as the 11806 Thangjam, is an asteroid, named after the Manipuri scientist, "Thangjam Guneshwar". The declaration was made at an International Astronomical Union (IAU) conference, "Asteroids, Planets and Meteors, 2017", in South America.[1][2][3][4]
