Communist Consolidation (26 April 1935 – 15 August 1947) was an Indian independence and communist organization, formed among the prisoners of Andaman Cellular Jail in 26th of april 1935. It was the largest resistance group against British rule in the Cellular Prison. Many legendary Freedom Fighters was the Members of this Organization and this organization was towards to uproot the British rule from INDIA.[1]
History
The group was founded by 12 inmates. The group declared its adherence to the Communist Party of India. Its founders belonged to a minority tendency with the pro-Marxist section of the Anushilan Samiti.
Membership
The Membership of the organization expanded rapidly to about 200 to 500 members. Some of the Members were:
- Hare Krishna Konar, (Extremist Movement), founder of the organization
- Somnath Lahiri, Anushilan revolutionary from West Bengal
- Niranjan Sengupta, Anushilan revolutionary from West Bengal
- Narayan Ray, Anushilan revolutionary from West Bengal
- Satish Pakrashi, Anushilan revolutionary from West Bengal
- Shiv Verma, associate of Bhagat Singh
- Biplabi Dhrubesh Chattopadhyay, connection with the Dakhineswar Bomb Case
- Sudhangshu Basgupta, connection with the Dakhineswar Bomb Case
- Ananta Chakravorty, for the Conspiracy and Bomb Case
- Nalini Das, for the Mechua Bazar Bomb Case
- Fakir Sen, Anushilan revolutionary from Tripura
