Sai Baba of Shirdi (died October 15, 1918) was a spiritual master who lived in India. His followers believed that he was a saint or satguru. Some say he was an incarnation of Lord Krishna[1] while others think of him as an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya. He lived the longest part of his life in a village in India called Shirdi.
Although Sai Baba died almost 100 years ago, still today large numbers of people follow him or have great respect for him. He is very well respected in India, both by Hindus and Muslims. There are many temples built all over India to honor Sai Baba of Shirdi.
