Maaman Magal (lit. 'Uncle's daughter') is a 1995 Indian Tamil romantic comedy film directed by Guru Dhanapal. It stars Sathyaraj, Meena, Goundamani and Manorama, along with Jayachitra in the lead negative role.[2][3]

Plot

The story starts from Manikkam's (Manivannan) entry in the film. He wants to drag down Devi Rajalakshmi (Jayachitra), and he asks Shanmugam (Sathyaraj) to marry his daughter Priya (Meena), so those two start cheating Devi and Priya. After Priya and Shanmugam get married, the truth comes to light. The plot takes a twist when Priya applies for a divorce. The plot completes by Priya leaving her solitude and joining Shanmugam.

Sathyaraj portrayed a female character for several scenes in the film, and his voice was dubbed by voice artist Hema Malini.[4][5]

The film score and the soundtrack were composed by film composer Adithyan. The soundtrack, released in 1995, features 6 tracks with lyrics written by Vaali, Gangai Amaran and Kalidasan.[6][7]
