Villages are a dedicated space where various domain specific security groups present their own series of events, which could be a sort of challenge, talks or any live hacking demonstrations. In the 2020 edition of CIACON, for the first time IOT Village presented their interactive hacking labs in [[India]]. Over the years IoT Village has served as a platform to showcase and uncover hundreds of new vulnerabilities, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about the most innovative techniques to both hack and secure IoT. IoT Village is organised by security consulting and research firm, Independent Security Evaluators (ISE), and the non-profit organization, Village Idiot Labs (VIL).
