Hussain's Grandfather Late Ch. Mohd. Yasin Khan remained Member of Punjab Legislative Council and Assembly from 1926 to 1946 and 1952 to 1962 (more than 32 yrs.). He was elected unopposed to Punjab Legislative Assembly in 1952.
He was the first Graduate in the Meo (Muslim) Community.
He was responsible for the stay of Meo Community in India at the behest of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and other Leaders, while they were going to Pakistan.
He founded many educational Institutions and he had been the undisputed leader of the Mewat area as a whole and Meo Community in all over the world in particular.
