The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Wilson baronetcy&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, of [[Delhi]] in India, was created in the [[Baronetage of the United Kingdom]] on 8 January 1858 for the soldier [[Archdale Wilson]], whose father George Wilson, rector of [[Didlington]], was younger brother of [[Henry Wilson, 10th Baron Berners]].&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Burke&amp;#039;s Peerage, Baronetage and Knightage&amp;#039;&amp;#039; thirtieth edition, 1868, p. 1185.&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; He had commanded the British troops during the [[Siege of Delhi]] in 1857 during the [[Indian Rebellion of 1857|Indian Rebellion]].&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;Burke&amp;quot;&amp;gt;{{cite book|last=Burke|first=Bernard|authorlink=Bernard Burke|editor=Ashworth P.
