&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;William Trego Webb&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (24 August 1847 – 8 January 1934) was a British educationist and author who taught English Literature in various colleges in [[Bengal]] in India in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A prolific writer, he also produced a number of English language grammar books for Indian students with fellow-academic [[F. J. Rowe]].&lt;br /&gt;

James Webb (1803–1881), a [[Baptists|Baptist]] minister of Stoke Green in Ipswich. He attended [[Ipswich School]] and matriculated at [[Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge]] on 26 March 1866, taking his [[Bachelor of Arts|BA]] in 1870 and gaining his [[Master of Arts|MA]] in 1874. He was an Assistant Master at [[La Martiniere College]] in [[Kolkata|Calcutta]] from 1870 to 1875. Captain [[Noel Webb (RFC officer)|Noel William Ward Webb]] {{post-nominals|country=GBR|size=100%|MC1}} (1896–1917), a British World War I [[flying ace]] was credited with [[List of World War I aces credited with 11–14 victories|fourteen aerial victories]].
