'''Western Catchment''' is an area of [[The Nilgiris District|The Nilgiris]], [[Tamil Nadu]], situated about 20 km from [[Ooty]]. The Western Catchment area is protected by the Forest Department, and tourists are not allowed in without permission. == About the area ==
