The station consists of three platforms. The platforms are well sheltered. The station lies on [[Purna–Khandwa section]] of [[South Central Railway]]. It was in [[Hyderabad railway division]] of SCR and now is in [[Nanded railway division]] after bifurcation of [[Hyderabad railway division]].
