Dr. Vimaltai Nandkishore Mundada began her political career in 1990 the [[Bharatiya Janata Party]] (BJP). She was elected as member of [[Maharashtra Legislative Assembly]] from [[Kaij]], a seat reserved for [[Scheduled Castes and Tribes|scheduled caste]] candidates in [[Beed district]].
