Later, he pursued his higher studies and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1956. He returned to India in 1961 and started working as a Professor of Surgery at [[Aurangabad, Maharashtra|Aurangabad]] where he worked till 1971.
