==Life and career==
Shakya belongs to a small city of Uttar Pradesh called [[Ghazipur]]. He was born and brought up in a middle class farmer family. He is an alumnus of [[Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences]], from where he has pursued his master's degree in Agriculture Genetics and Plant Breeding. He completed his early education from Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Public School, Gazipur and diploma in [[Yoga]] from [[Banaras Hindu University]]. Shakya's modelling career started in 2021. This was followed by his victory in Mr. India Icon Season-2. This beauty pageant was followed by Shakya becoming the 1st runner up in contest 'Model of the Year season - 3'.<ref name=ONE/>
