==Early life and career==

Vijay Kumar Aggarwal was born on 1969 in Delhi. He studied BCom from [[Hansraj College]] of [[Delhi University]] where he got I.C.W.A, FCA and LLB.{{Citation needed|date=March 2021}} Aggarwal has been practicing in the courts of India, [[Supreme Court of India]], [[Delhi High Court]] and other high courts since 2000.

In one [[Public interest litigation in India|PIL]] filed by Vijay Aggarwal, Delhi High Court has held that all accused persons who are being prosecuted for offences punishable up to 7 years and have been in prison for more than one year should be released immediately on bail and accordingly four hundred and twenty people were immediately released.

==Controversy==
In 2011, The Bar Council of Delhi found Aggarwal in two professions chartered accountancy and advocacy simultaneously.
