In 2000, Vadivudaiyan planned a film titled ''Puththan'' starring [[Arun Vijay|Arunkumar]] and [[Divya Unni]] in the lead roles. In 2012, Vadivudaiyan began his own production studio, Singam Cinema and announced that he would make a trilingual film titled ''Chokkanathan''.
