Thiruvenkatachari was educated at [[Presidency College, Madras]] and studied law at the [[Madras Law College]]. On completion of his education, Thiruvenkatachari worked as a junior under [[S. Srinivasa Iyengar]] and [[Sir Alladi Krishnaswami Ayyar]].
