Chippa moved to [[Pakistan]] after [[Partition of India|Partition]]. He toured [[Pakistani cricket team in Ceylon in 1948–49|Ceylon in 1948-49]], playing in both of the international matches, and was selected to play for Pakistan in the two matches against the [[Ceylonese cricket team in Pakistan in 1949–50|touring Ceylon team in 1949-50]].
