== Geography ==
Usmanpur (also called Karapillu) is located on the south bank of a big meander in the [[Yamuna]], southwest of Firozabad. An area of farmland extends southwest of Usmanpur, toward the hamlet of Kabirpur, while there is a large area of open [[scrubland]] to the southeast. Immediately to the east of Usmanpur is a patch of [[Vachellia nilotica|babul]] woodland belonging to the Firozabad Reserved Forest. == Infrastructure ==
As of 2011, Usmanpur had 1 primary school; it did not have any healthcare facilities. Drinking water was provided by well, hand pump, and tube well/bore well; there were no public toilets.
