It has only two colleges on Harda Road and Rahatgaon Road. There is a very famous Maa Rajrajeshwari Lalita Mahatripur Sundari temple situated on Hoshangabad road. It has several schools. Radhasosami High School is one of the largest schools of Timarni. Vidyadhaam Shikshan Santhan is one of the largest and most famous institutes of Timarni.<br />
