He was the state president of [[Tapasya Kala Sahithya Vedi]] and the founder president of [[Vishwa Samvad Kendra Kerala]]. He used to deliver lectures on different Hindu epic, vedic and science topics in [[Amrita TV]] in a programme called &#039;Bharatha Dharsanam&#039;, and the discourse and discussion was from 07.30 to 08.00 AM.<br /> <br /> Viswambharan contested as the [[National Democratic Alliance|NDA]] candidate from Thripunithra Legislative Assembly during the [[Kerala legislative elections, 2016|2016 Kerala legislative elections]], but failed. He came only in the third position.<br /> <br /> He was awarded Balagokulams&#039; Janmashtami Puraskar by Murali Manohar Joshi in Kochi a month before his death, the last one received among many honors.
