== Recent electoral history ==
[[The Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance|The Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA)]] has scripted a stunning electoral debut by winning a majority in the 28-member [[2021 Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council election|Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections]] along with its ally [[Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra|Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra (INPT)]].
