The '''Terekhol River''' is a river in western [[India]]. The Portuguese era [[Tiracol Fort]] is located on the northern mouth of this river which is also in the far north-west of Goa, which has been turned into a heritage hotel now.<ref>{{Cite web|last=Gokhale|first=Nihar|title=Paradise not lost, yet|url=https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/blink/know/paradise-not-lost-yet/article24714322.ece|access-date=2021-03-26|website=@businessline|language=en}}</ref> The fort has been converted into a tourist destination, maintained in excellent condition. From [[Querim]], you can cross the Tiracol River by ferry and then it is 2&nbsp;km to the fort. 600 meters from the Tiracol ferry point is the [http://hillrockgoa.com Hotel Hill Rock] which has accommodation and a bistro in it.<br />
