After schooling he graduated in 1996 from the [[University of Karachi]].<ref name="pap/2008" />

He was elected to the [[Provincial Assembly of Punjab]] as a candidate of [[Pakistan Muslim League (N)]] (PML-N) from [[Constituency PP-236 (Vehari-V)]] in [[2002 Pakistani general election]].
