'''T A Shahid''' (25 may 1972 – 28 September 2012) was one of the notable story & scriptwriters for [[Malayalam film industry]] in the recent times. His notable works include [[Balettan]] and [[Rajamanikyam]] which were among highest grossers of those years. He was the younger brother of another famous Malayalam scriptwriter [[T. A. Razzaq]].<br />

He died of [[cirrhosis]] aged 41 on 28 September 2012 in a private hospital in [[Kozhikode]] where he had been undergoing treatment for sometime.<br />
